THE GREED IN NIGERIA
We hail Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and his risk management prowess which he is using to sanitize the banking sector in Nigeria, who on the outside looks strong and impressive, but on the inside totaling eaten up with debts. This goes a long way to intensify the old adage that says "all that glitter is not gold".
From the debt list published by the CBN, it is surprising to find out that even serving senators are also culprits, taking the likes of Senator Aniette Okon pioneer owner of Rockson Engineering Company Limited.
My candid question is this, how can government be awarding public office holders contracts? i.e. Senator Aniette Okon company of which they are handling four of the nine ongoing power projects under the NIPP? What was the bidding process to get the contract, where they tested before such contracts were awarded?
Truth they say no matter how hidden from light will always find its way out. This goes a long way to say that most of the public office holders we have in power to improve the lives of the masses are only there to enrich themselves, defraud the country, stash blood (oil) money in foreign countries, and do not worry if all goes well as long as his family has been well provided for.
Let us reason together, when all was good; oil boom, an average Nigerian could hardly feed his family. Oil price has falling, and the government is beginning to shield off her responsibility by removing subsidies from fuel , which on the long run will still hamper the current condition of the average Nigerian.
God deliver us from these greedy Nigerian leaders.
