Laying Hold to Power by all Means

Recent events in the Nigerian Governors’ Forum make me wonder! When are we going to truly embrace democracy in Nigeria? One question I’m asking is "if 36 democratically elected governors cannot conduct a simple election to choose a single consensus candidate void of no conflicts or prejudice or manipulations, then how can the same people work to conduct a free and fair election in Nigeria. The Nigerian Electoral Jingoism must be made real. Our self-centered leaders should look at things that will benefits the citizens rather than selfish interests of laying hold to power by all means. The Nigerian predicament is bigger than any PDP, APC, CPC, ACN, ANPP or whatsoever parties we have in the country. Boko Haram has gone out of control - is this really true? if it is, why don't they cross-over to Niger State? "Just an imagination". Until our Leaders come to the understanding that time and chance happen to them all, they too shall soon pass and they will not be remembered for anything positive. Build infrastructures, start positive initiatives. If you don't have good advisers, learn from the people that are working, for example - Babatunde Raji Fashola, Governor of Lagos state and his likes. What will it benefit a leader that amass so much wealth yet when you die, people will say thank God, good riddance to a bad rubbish. Ponder!!!
